Using the Toshiba A65 Laptop - A Blessing Or a Problem?

Toshiba A65 Laptop is a nice venture of the Toshiba Company and has many qualities and features which other laptops usually don't have. It has a 15-inch display LCD, a fine 60GB hard drive, a good quality DVD/CD-RW drive, and 802.11b/g wireless mini-PCI card is also integrated in it. Some advantages of using this laptop model are as follows:

  • It is ideal for light processing of words.
  • It excellent for surfing the web.
  • It is great for mailing purposes.
  • It has warranty period of one year with free replacement of parts.
  • It is not very expensive.
  • Its battery takes less time to charge completely.
  • It has a very fast memory speed.

However, Toshiba A65 laptop has many disadvantages too. Some of them are:
  • It over heats in short time.
  • Dust clogs its heat sink.
  • It is a slow model of laptop for handling intensive graphic tasks such as games, etc.
  • It has partial or continuous battery charging problems.
  • The power jack is not well connected with the system's motherboard, so power problems persist.
  • Its memory is not very reliable and may fail any time.
  • Its mouse pad is super sensitive, so if touched accidentally, it causes problems during typing and editing text.
  • It has a poor quality of volume and sound.
  • It is not a smart notebook computer as it has more weight as compared to other laptops.

Therefore, Toshiba A65 Laptop is not a preferable choice for people, especially students as it takes more space than other laptops, so it's not convenient to take it with you during lectures and constitutes more disadvantages and problems than advantages and benefits.
